Space Machine & Engineering (SME) provides high quality comprehensive installation services for waveguide systems including rigid and flexible waveguide assembly bends, waveguide hangers and bulkhead penetrations.

Space Machine & Engineering has a full crew of professionals (over 20 years of combined experience) who are able to design and install any type of waveguide system. 

Our installation services cover a wide range:

• Careful measurement of existing waveguide system or design of a new microwave path alignment to achieve a smooth and successful start up
• Detailed design and development of waveguide sub-assemblies, waveguide bulkhead penetrations and support, and bracket assemblies using AutoCad Mechanical 2011 for 2D and 3D modeling
• Manufacturing parts of assembly:

                                                Waveguide bending

         Precision CNC machining

         Brazing to MIL-B-7883B

         Welding

         Pressure test

         Electrical testing using an Anritsu 37269C 50MHz -          40GHz Vector Network Analyzer

         Finishing - including chemical conversion coating,          glass bead blasting, painting, and ink stamping

         Quality Control MIL-I-45208A inspection system

• On site installation of all parts using all necessary hardware and gaskets for perfect contact throughout the system
• Delivery of all parts and installation of waveguide systems
• Electrical testing after assembly to ensure excellent system performance
• Space Machine & Engineering follows the NAVSEA 0967-LP-000-0110 standards for waveguide fabrication and installation. Our installation services are cost - effective while focusing on quality and time
